Here is the first entry in the 3D printer build log. I ended up self sourcing the parts rather than getting the Botmill kit due to widespread negative feedback about Botmill in the reprap community. I saved a few bucks to boot, total price including 5lbs of plastic and heated bed etc... was ~900 USD.
